Theme: “Our Masks”

The theme of the youthexchange “Sol & Arte 2009”, “Our Masks”, will focus on the identities that we share or believe to be.

The masks that we use for our own protection, masks as shields, that give invisibility or take us untill safe places, where we can manage our life.

The theme “Our Masks” will be worked in the workshops of Urban Dance, Arts and Crafts, African Percussion, Dancing Masks and Urban Sounds. We ask every participant to bring a mask, any kind of, and some information about the use of masks in your own country (local crafts and parties, traditional culture,…) to share with the others.
